Half of adults in the US aged 30 and over have periodontal disease (64.7 million). I am going to review with you an approach to oral health and the clinical relevance of gingivitis. I will share with you case studies, which will include a comprehensive analysis of the science behind Colgate Total® toothpaste with emphasis on the recent Cochrane review of Triclosan/copolymer technology along with recent developments in teeth maintenance.
Dr. Wong has over 10 years experience as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2000 and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the UCSF in 2005. Dr. Wong has a strong commitment to education. She has served as a clinical assistant professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, SF.

Dr.Turley is a general dentist from Long Island, NY. He graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2005 and completed a GPR there in 2006, focusing on implant prosthetics. While in dental school, Dr. Turley served as the National President of the American Student Dental Association. He has also served as the Chair of the ADA New Dentist Committee and is currently the President of the Suffolk County Dental Society. He lectures internationally on clinical dentistry, practice management, and leadership development.
